FEA Analyst

Our client is a global player in the the aerospace tyres engineering and manufacturing market. Its world class team of engineers strive for technical superiority through innovation. New products are introduced into service regularly and its facility is subject to significant capital investment. It's an exciting time to join this company which has a new opportunity for a Graduate FEA Engineer. This role could also be called Stress Engineer or Finite Element Analyst.
Reporting to the Lead FEA Analyst you will be responsible for tyre modelling and analysis, and assist with model based problem solving. In addition to this you will be expected to participate in the development of a material property database for tyre modelling, and also participate in modelling activities in ventures with Universities.
You will ideally have experience of using non-linear FE software such as ABAQUS although a degree with a project involving any FEA will be considered. A more experienced FE Analyst or Stress Engineer will also be considered at a more senior level. Experience of rubber or composite analysis would be ideal but is not essential.
