One of the world’s leading Automotive manufacturers, established for more than 60 years, is seeking to expand its team of 250 engineers and specialists over the next 2-3 years at its attractive Warwick University based European Technical Centre.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Thermal Systems Integration Engineer with a background in vehicle cooling , engine cooling  or cooling sub-system (fan / radiator) development  to join the team.

As an Integration Engineer you will be working on vehicle  programmes in the area of Powertrain Thermal systems development (cooling, intake and exhaust). The job includes the following responsibilities:

* Support the programme design team in the system specification definition for the powertrain thermal systems
* Supervise cooling system flow and thermal analysis using appropriate CAE tools such as KULI or Radtherm in order to aid in the design of the cooling systems and heat management components
* Develop and manage vehicle targets, DVP and programme status documents
* Conduct testing in environmental test facilities and on development hot climate trips; this will include management of vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition as well as processing, analysing & reporting of test data.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates will need to be Degree, HND or HNC qualified and be able to demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy skills and have experience in  vehicle cooling , engine cooling  or sub-system(fan / radiator) development.  Although pitched at Principal Engineer level, applications from more junior Engineers with relevant experience seeking a career development opportunity are also welcome.
