Technical Project Lead
Kent, England

As Technical Project Leader you will be responsible for coordinating all the engineering activities on specific customer pump applications both in development and production, be the customer technical interface, and represent Engineering in cross functions teams. The position will report to the TPL Manager.
The role's main duties will be drawn from the following:
Manage the Engineering activities to ensure alignment with overall project timing and manage the escalation and resolution within Engineering
Lead the technical communication with the customers to ensure customer technical requirements are understood, and resolve any technical roadblocks
Communicate effectively, develop and conduct regular technical presentations internally, and to customers
Prepare and own customer related documents such as validation reports, customer specific DFMEA reviews, CPS etc,
Agree pump packaging with the customer and ensure interface drawings are released with correct QCI and KPC definition,
Define prototype definition (BOM) for all development and PPAP samples
Lead and apply PDP process for Design reviews and represent Engineering in Gate reviews
Track pump validation progress - both internally and at customers
Prepare minutes/action plans following meetings to ensure all affected teams are appraised of progress at all times
Regular travel will be required for customer meetings
Be positive, encourage, coach and share knowledge with all CR pump cross functional teams
To observe and practice all applicable company policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Required:-
Engineering degree or equivalent. (Required)
Design/development background (Required)
Project Management experience llowing very low supervision levels (Required)
Must be very well organised and disciplined (Required)
Experience with working on multi projects - up to 3-4 at any time. (Required)
Excellent communication skills (Required)
Attention to detail (Required)
Must be a Team Player
Preferable:-
Fluent German speaker - reading and written as well (Optional, not essential)
