EPS - Test Engineer

This is a very fast-paced sector requiring advanced planning and problem-solving skills for programmes with short design cycle times. The role requires someone who works well under pressure, has good mechanical and technical knowledge, good planning and organisational skills, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
What you'll do
Managing and supporting the efficient throughput of test samples, from receipt through to completion and reporting of tests, to meet customer deadlines.
Taking responsibility for the accurate recording of product behaviour, performance or condition during and after test, collating test data and producing clear and professional technical reports.
Working closely with customers to develop and understand test requirements, and to assist in the resolution of test failures through investigative work.
Maintaining, upgrading and verifying the performance of existing test equipment and working with suppliers to design, specify and define requirements of test rigs and fixtures.
Creating, reviewing and accurately following test specifications and timing plans.
Using problem solving methodologies to investigate anomalies or faults and implement corrective actions.
