Due to growth plans a position of Senior CAD Design Engineer has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below... To fulfil Air Induction Systems and Intake manifolds design requirements from concept phase to Production intent providing necessary 2D and 3D data.

Candidates who apply MUST be competent in Catia V5 and have Automotive under bonnet experience. Detailed 3D CAD design work of Air induction/Intake Systems (AIS) including components
Design regarding GDandT standards
Design to fulfil manufacturing requirements DFM principles
Design to fulfil material requirements
Packaging investigations and determination for AIS components
CAD data preparation for CAE/NVH application
Data transfer including documentation and archive
Execute ongoing CAD data back up
Support Business Development in formulating quotations providing necessary design data as required
System administration tasks
CAD model/Drawing control/Updates and Release (SAP)
Complete work until agreed completion date to meet master Project Schedule
Process Change control items and release 2D/3D changes
Use effective best practice design methods and appropriate material choices work to customer design rules/guidelines as applicable
Instigate and lead VAVE improvements into realisation
To ensure conformance to TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures
