Material and Component Test Engineer
Gaydon, Warwickshire, England
£20.40 - 20.40 per hour

Test Engineer- sample preparation, material and component testing, results analysis, report writing and problem resolution. Liaison with supplier and Engineering to develop and deliver DVPs to support key GPDS programme gateways from FDJ to FEC.

Skills Required:
Extensive knowledge of materials test and validation processes. Strong project and time management skills. Technical report writing and problem resolution.

Skills Preferred:
High levels of attention to detail, accuracy and conscientiousness. Self motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision, with a proven ability to work within strict timing constraints. Effective communication skills essential - both written and verbal. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to multi-task and a willingness to learn.

Experience Required:
Materials and component test validation/analysis. Laboratory procedures and practices.

Experience Preferred:
Previous understanding and experience of general chemistry principles, analytical techniques, and failure analysis.

Education Required:
Materials/Chemistry/Engineering qualification to minimum A Level/HND level is essential.

Education Preferred:
Relevant Materials/Chemistry/Engineering degree desirable but not essential.
