This company manufactures a range of unique products and assemblies for the defence sector. A new permanent opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician. This role is commutable of Worcester, Redditch, Kidderminster,Telford and Birmingham.

As Laboratory Technician,you will work as part of a team carrying out testing of a wide range of materials, chemicals and polymers. You are likely to have a degree or similar in Chemistry, Analytical Science or Material Science.Some previous work experience within a laboratory would be ideal but is not essential.

You may have experience of standard laboratory test methods. * Knowledge and practical experience of handling hazardous chemicals including COSHH and risk assessment. * Ability to plan and organise his/her own work, an understanding and experience of analytical techniques including AAS,HPLC,GC,UV * You will be a British national due to the position being in the defence sector.
