Whole Vehicle Programme Leader

£25.70 - 25.70 per hour
The vacancy is to work within the Sports Car Vehicle Engineering team, on future development programmes of the new vehicle lines. The Vehicle Engineering Team is responsible for the technical delivery of Programmes. Activities include:
- Target setting (and target balancing).
- DV planning and execution - Prototype fleet test and development.
- Co-ordination of Attribute sign-off activities (including Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, and Performance etc).
- Management of "Virtual Vehicle" workstreams.
- Facilitating solutions to cross-functional problems.
The role will involve responsibility for a number of the tasks outlined above, principally helping to ensure that the sports cars are designed, developed and signed off to a high standard.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate should have an engineering background and possess strong problem solving skills, ideally with a passion for cars and automotive engineering. High energy, drive, and a willingness to adapt to different priorities through the course of a vehicle development programme are essential.
Experience Required:
Previous experience in whole vehicle development and Vehicle Engineering roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of powertrain and chassis systems engineering will also be an advantage.
Education Required:
Degree educated in an engineering or automotive technology discipline.
Additional Information:
The role will be based primarily at Whitley, but regular work at Gaydon is also envisaged.
