Main Duties
Member of the Quality team assisting in the continued development and improvement of the Business Quality systems. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, to improve the quality and efficiency of our operation through the application of technical excellence as we grow our business and strive to be the best in the world at what we do.


Job description
-Lead investigations and resolution of product quality problems,
-Liaise with the customer on quality related issues,
-Carry out day to day routine patrols to ensure product is manufactured within identified quality standards,
-Manage Non-conformance and Quality Incidence systems to ensure effective solutions to problems are identified and implemented,
-Effectively manage and reduce the cost of quality system through the identified Improvement,
-Control and monitor incoming products through use of identified inspection standards and liaison with suppliers,
-Provide final product release prior to despatch,
-Carry out inspection of cylinders prior to reconditioning and generate condition reports,
-Use of Quality tools to evaluate Quality Performance, identify trends and highlight areas for improvements,
-Carry out Quality and Process audits within the business and key suppliers,
-Liaise with Design and Engineering team to improve product quality and process efficiencies,
-Support the internal contract review process to ensure techniques for product verification are considered at the out-set,
-Actively assist on improving business quality,
-Reduce errors and work towards implementing route cause corrective actions thus eliminating reoccurrence,

Key skills and experience
-Previous experience of quality procedures in an Engineering Manufacturing sector
-Experience of quality procedures of safety critical
-ISO auditing experience
-Appreciation of NDT Techniques for the review of major product rejections
