Industrialisation Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

Having a strong presence in the UK, they have manufacturing sites in Midlands and the North of England

Job description
- Provide assistance in the Industrialization of new products and special products, along with working to increase efficiencies across the business.
- Product creation and setup on the company
- Standard work packs and document creation for new and current production processes.
- BOM and routing validation / audit.
- Responsible for the manufacturing process, documentation and data issue and Control.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing department.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers.
- Provide data for costing purposes when required.
- Participate in Kaizen and other Continuous Improvement events when requested.
Key skills and experience
- Candidates should be educated to Degree level or similar in an Engineering discipline or have relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of sheet steel manufacturing processes and technology.
- Working knowledge of cable management systems.
- Competent in the use of CADCAM systems (e.g. Autocad).
- Have good IT skills
- Be able to communicate well at all levels inside and outside the company, including strong presentation skills .
- Be able to travel within and outside the UK, and work away from base location as necessary
