Client has been established as a specialist in the global automotive industry, both as a successful manufacturer of sports cars and as a leading engineering consultancy for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
Key responsibilities as Vehicle Controls and Integration Engineer:
- Team Lead in Electronic Control System deliverables and projects.
- Contributing and supporting technical input in proposals and planning through Production vehicles.
- Managing software development, implementation and integration/testing procedures.
- Providing technical leadership with testing, validation and commissioning.
- Problem solving and instigating direction and motivation.
- Providing technical input and knowledge for automotive control systems, architecture and integration.
Personal Requirements:
- A degree / HNC / HND in Control Systems / Computer Science / Electronics / Automotive / Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Team leader experience.
- Knowledge of simulation modelling, embedded controllers and automotive control systems.
- Knowledge of IEC61508 and ISO26262 is advantageous.
- Experience in software architecture, vehicle architecture and CAN based systems are also advantageous.
- Ability to use MS Office Suite, Simulink and Stateflow.
- Flexibility to travel overseas worldwide approximately 5 times per year.
