Part of an International group of Manufacturing Companies operating in 11 countries. The company produces products for the Aerospace industry from a purpose built facility in Macclesfield, Cheshire employing over 400 staff.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, The MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will be the centre of knowledge within the business. Providing testing and verification of products and materials in support of the design and development activities jointly performed by the company and it`s customers. Ideally educated to degree level (or possessing experience) and from an engineering background with experience of Materials Technology or similar. You will have the ability to organise and carry out tests, research and development to comply with customers and regulatory authorities. In addition you will need good IT skills and be able to visit Customers and Suppliers both in the UK and overseas. The site is commutable from Manchester, Crewe, Stockport, Warrington and Stoke.
