Our client is the largest producer of Nickel based alloys in the UK supplying Aerospace, Petrochem and Automotive markets with highly specialised product. Most product is smelted then forged or extruded on site with some wire and sheet product processed off site. Highly reliant on metallurgical technical expertise this stable company is seeing good growth in customer requirements.
There are two positions available with the firm; one from a background in automotive process improvement and the other from a metallurgy background.
We are looking for 2 people with solid process improvement experience to work in a specialist worldwide firm. The positions are providing technical assistance to staff, customers and suppliers alike in relation to Quality and overall process. You`ll muse your experience to identify ways in which the process can be more productive (RCA) in accordance to SOP`s; the role will emphasise you offering solutions and identifying problems.
There will a certain amount of preventative measures taken with the role; this will include liaison with the designers to ensure best design practice. It will be a varied role and will allow you to utilise the skills you have gained. The difference between the roles is that one is a more general automotive based environment (supplying into OEM`s) and the other a specialist metallurgy based role. Ideally, you`ll be degree qualified in either area.
They are both permanent positions with benefits that include 25 days holiday, good company pension and the chance to buy stock in the company. The ranged salary on offer is very good and dependent on experience; it is to be discussed prior to submission.
