Senior Electronics Engineer

A recognised leading manufacturer of industrial diesel engines, is now looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the organisation.

This role is based in the Cambridgeshire area, close to the M1 and M11, and is commutable from Peterborough, Corby, Leicester and Northampton.
An opportunity exists for a customer facing Senior Electronics Engineer.

The Senior Electronics Engineer s principle responsibilities are
- Action routine and complex enquiries for electronic information
- Optimise electronic specifications for customer engines understanding of specific applications
- Manage all customers programs with minimal guidance
- Identify training needs
- Fully complete AandI Installation Electronic appraisal with ownership to solve customers engine and installation issues and feed back to customer
- Interpret results and draw conclusions from installations to implement permanent electronics solutions
- Capture customer/ market sector technical requirements, support the Electronic section of the function requirement documents where required as part of APQP and support development to translate into standard or bespoke product offerings
- Provide Electronic leadership to other AandI Engineers

Ideal candidates would have:
- Knowledge of engine electronics
- Experience on engine calibration and performance development
- Experience of Canape and Canalyser diagnostic tools
- Customer Facing Experience
- Degree or business experience equivalent
