This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the world's most iconic brands.
Williams Advanced Engineering, located at Williams F1 Headquarters in Oxfordshire, will provide Jaguar with a direct technology transfer of their engineering expertise for the new Jaguar C-X75 hybrid supercar, they are seeking a Chassis System Test and Development Engineer to support this project and those that follow.

The Chassis System Test and Development Engineer will be responsible for high performance road / race cars. The Chassis Systems include Vehicle dynamics, Slip control systems (ESP+) and Brakes. Responsibilities will include:

- Vehicle dynamics subjective assessment
- Component / chassis spec test and development (Subjective and Objective evaluation and optimisation)
- Chassis Systems issue resolution
- Liaison with design engineers / suppliers and other development engineers within Chassis Systems
- Test activity planning / coordination / support
- Technical report writing

The Chassis System Test and Development Engineer should possess experience of the following:

- Proven capability of successful vehicle development
- Ability to subjectively assess chassis attributes
- Good understanding of chassis systems including brakes
- Formal driver training qualifications from Industry recognised organisation / OEM
- Limit handling driving experience
- Ability to clearly report, present and, generally, communicate results
- Ability to adapt and overcome setbacks in development environment
- Ability to self-motivate to achieve the best possible result with minimum supervision
- Flexible attitude to working hours when required to meet project deliverables

Additional experience in the following is highly desirable:

- Experience of developing very high performance vehicles
- Background in road car vehicle dynamics
- Brake test and development
- Aerodynamic subjective development
- Slip control system development
- Tyre test and development
- Objective Test Instrumentation, data logging and processing

This is an initial 6 months contract.
