An outstanding opportunity to join one of the world's most iconic brands within motorsport. They require a Stress Engineer to work closely with the Design Group assisting with the optimisation of designs on both metallic and composite structures.

The Stress Engineer will be responsible for the development and validation of FEA structural models for key areas of the car such as driver controls (steering/pedals), engine systems and KERS. The Design Group and the Stress group work closely together to develop the initial scheme and then produce detail stress analysis reports which are used for the design approval.

Degree qualified, candidates will have an in depth knowledge of structural analysis methods via hand calculations, composite analysis and non-linear FEA . Experience of NASTRAN is preferred and a working knowledge of ABAQUS is an advantage.
