As an expereinced Technical Buyer you will source the correct products at the right time and price in line with approved requests, the business plan and predicted stock levels.    (Multiple positions available)

The key responsibilities are:

• Place purchase orders for components in line with requirements generated via the MRP system and manual requirements generated via the relevant authorised supervisors/Project release process.
• Negotiate all terms and conditions, in line with the business operating procedures ensuring the best total acquisition costs.
• Continually monitor suppliers to ensure cost, quality and delivery adherence.
• Provide information and support as required to departmental managers and other internal customers.
• Ensure all relevant ISO9001 procedures are adhered to.
• To be capable of presenting commercial information which enablessourcing decisions to be made, whilst identifying potential risks

To be successful in this role you will have precious experience of purchasing in a batch prototype or low volume production environment

You will be able to evaluate and analyse the estimated cost of specific parts if requested, have a good understanding of what type of process is required to manufacture specific components and have a strong commercial skillset with the ability to understand and draft supply contracts

Historical experience within Precision Component, Automotive, Aerospace or F1 sectors preferred
