REQUIREMENTS: You will carry out stress analysis on composite and metallic components and structures. This will be by hand calcs and by Finite Element methods.
DESCRIPTION: A first tier supplier to the global aviation industry and a leader in the manufacture of highly complex composite and metallic aero structures and engine products. The company is equally focused on military and civil markets. A new Stress Engineer opportunity has been released which is based on the Isle of Wight in an attractive location. This is commutable of Portsmouth and Southampton.
VAC REQ :You will be qualified to at least an HND and have experience of stress analysis, preferably but not essentially on aerospace structures.
This will be with both FE and hand calcs. Nastran, Patran and Mathcad experience would be ideal. Hypermesh or Hyperworks experience would be good. You will be British or EU citizens.
