Calibration Engineer - Automotive - Diesel Engine - London - £Neg

A Senior Calibration Engineer with extensive common rail diesel engine dyno calibration experience is required to join a world leader in the design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and execution of engine dynamometer programs for the calibration of full-load performance, emissions, FIE, airpath and aftertreatment controls.
Ideally, experienced in calibration processes and tool-chains such as ATI Vision, ETAS INCA, AVL Cameo, MBC, Concerto and Puma.

Responsibilities include:
Developing dyno-based calibration methods for new core functions in close conjunction with the FIE system team.
Drive appropriate software function changes by provision of appropriate development data analysis and reporting.
Develop rigorous and robust sign-off procedures for the feature calibration.

The Senior Calibration Engineer will be educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline with experience in powertrain development.
Ideally six-sigma Green Belt or equivalent
A working appreciation of embedded control techniques including being able to follow Matlab Simulink diagrams is desirable.
