Finance Administrator

We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator up to 25 hours per week on a 3-month contract based in Castle Bromwich.

As Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for accurate Purchase / Sales Ledgers along with supporting the Finance department with all administrative functions.

The two main tasks of the role include:
* Purchase Ledger
* Sales Ledger

Purchase Ledger:
- Entering supplier invoices onto MFG Pro
- Making payment runs
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Maintaining payment records
- All associated filing
- Dealing with/resolving invoice queries
- "booking in" service advice notes
- Raising supplier debit notes
- Month end purchase ledger reconciliations and reporting

Sales Ledger:
- Ensuring all sales are invoiced
- Allocation of customer receipts
- Chasing non payment of invoices
- Administering customer debit notes and chasing resolution
- Raising manual invoices and credits, and manual sales ledger adjustments
- Using customers internet/computer systems to administer the sales ledger
- Administering self bill customer accounts including raising VAT invoices
- Month end sales ledger reconciliations and reporting
- Print and post invoices
- Dealing with POD queries

Applicants are required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Relevant experience of sales/purchase ledger administration
- A willingness to resolve problems
- A detailed approach

- The ability to liaise with all levels in the business
- IT literate, familiar with MS Office and strong in Excel spreadsheets
- The ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to work on own initiative
