An Embedded Coding Software Engineer is required to work on contract for our client who specialise in luxury cars, the position will be based in the West Midlands.
To support GTDS projects within Electrical Engineering specifically supporting the future software infrastructure for the vehicle.
This will involve:
-Reviewing standards to develop the appropriate configurations for implementations of AutoSAR
-Building real/ virtual demonstrations to verify key features of the AutoSAR platform
-Liaising with various suppliers and key stakeholders of the projects to develop requirements
-The GTDS process will also require working with the IP Department, Purchasing and Manufacturing/ Service in order to ensure that all GTDS project requirements are fulfilled
Our client requires an individual to have experience of the following:
-Working knowledge of AutoSAR and experience of embedded coding
-project management skills
-Familiarity with different communication network technologies and architectures
-Experience of embedded coding Project management experience, preferably with knowledge and understanding of development processes Formal report writing
-Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline
Our client would ideally like the individual to have experience of the following:
-Knowledge of ECU simulation technologies
-Knowledge of model based design approaches
-Experience of working with AutoSAR, knowledge of the AutoSAR standards
