A Vehicle Legislation Compliance Engineer with in depth knowledge of the Certification processes for automotive compliance is required to support a major new development within a market leading design/manufacture of high end luxury/off-road vehicles based in the West Midlands.
This role is part of an exciting new expansion of the team to meet increasing demands with the launch of future models.
You will have knowledge and experience with,
- Certification processes for automotive compliance (EC-WVTA, UN-ECE , EC Directive Compliance) Component Certification (UN-ECE or such like)
- Chinese or Indian Vehicle or Component experience
- Control and updating legislative compliance programmes for each vehicle project
- Establish testing as required and directed by regulatory requirements
This role needs someone able to play an active role in programme teams and within the department team ensuring that team principles are applied with a positive view on desired outcomes whilst, recognising that the role is not always popular with the engineering community but having sufficient force of character to ensure that the message of vehicle compliance is understood.
