Materials BOM and Planner

£26 per hour
Our client is a precision manufacturer based in the East Midlands and is looking to strengthen their material planning team. They are currently seeking to recruit a Materials BOM and Planner on a 9 month contract basis.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the individual will be responsible for the following:
* Ensure Material Requirements are clear to Purchasing / Scheduling and up to date on SAP
* Ensure BoMs are up to date (both SAP and LCA)
* Release and update Requests for build to deliver to.
* Processing ECNs to ensure timely communication of requirements to the supply chain (along with associated cancellations where appropriate)
* Planning a portfolio of parts for selected Programmes, which includes Interpretation of MRP, Creation of purchase reqs, production orders, Use of Planning Tables, Interpretation of goods movements transactions and stock transfers and Review of re-schedule messages to prioritise build shortages for the supply chain
* BoM structuring and maintenance.
* Working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality, Finance, Stores and Build to ensure the planned requirements are met, and barriers to this are removed
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
* SAP knowledge (ECN processing, MRP review and actioning, BoM control)
* LCA Knowledge
* Database experience
* Competent in Excel
* Experienced in supply chain integration with kitting, build and test activities

* Rigorous in execution of tasks
