Project Manager - Defence Electronics

Exciting opportunity to join this leader in the Defence market to define, plan, direct and deliver a number of complex small to medium sized contracts and projects through rigorous cost control and schedule adherence. This role is commutable from Luton, Hitchin, Stevenage, Royston and Hatfield.
You will manage stakeholder interfaces, including Customers, where appropriate and ensure accurate reporting of progress. The role also needs to maintain a high degree of focus on supporting the winning of new and follow-on business.
You will have proven Project Management skills working on Weapons, Electronic Warfare, Radar or similarly complex projects with experience of project planning, budget control and work breakdown strucuture (WBS). Ideally Degree qualified in a technical, science or project management discipline or equivalent. Ideally qualified to APMP / Prince 2 Level with experience of Microsoft Project tools. Strong Risk management skills.Sound business judgement.Technical appreciation of complex problems. Strong communication and motivational skills.
