Warranty Specialist

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer, currently looking for a Warranty Specialist on a 12 month contract basis.
The individual will be responsible for supporting the Quality Management function in the management and deployment of all activities associated with processes concerning handling of Vehicle Warranty and claims data (GWK).
The individual will have an understanding of how Vehicle Warranty data is generated and reported, as well as an in-depth understanding of prediction processes and supporting IT tools.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
* Manipulation and combination of data.
* Ensuring consistency of data in all reports.
* Development of data analysis techniques to highlight where action needs to be taken to achieve Quality targets.
* Recognised as 'expert', first point of contact for all GWK-related topics
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong IT skills are essential, particularly MS Excel including Visual Basic.
* Experience in data analysis / manipulation techniques.
* Logistical management of warranty returned parts.
* Ability to interpret and verify plausibility of data.
* Good numeracy skills.
* Self-motivating, able to manage self and others.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good communication skills and the ability to influence others.
* Adaptable to new and challenging situations.
