An Electrical Distribution Systems Programme engineer is required to work on contract for our client who specialise in luxury cars, the position will be based in the West Midlands.
Skills Required:
Project Management, problem analysis and to be able to quickly get to robust solutions. Present technical issues/status and work within a team of Engineers and with Management. Understand complex Bill of Materials and vehicle Electrical circuits. Manage design changes within vehicle harnesses, working together with the harness supplier. Liaison with other System teams. Use of Microsoft Office.
Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of GPDS, AIMS, eFDVS etc.
Experience Required:
Project management, technical problem resolution, working within a multidiscipline team. A knowledge of System validation processes.
Experience Preferred:
Experience delivering vehicle Design/Development programmes, understanding Gateways and phases of projects. Support on Prototype vehicle builds.
Education Required:
Educated to degree level, in a relevant field or subject.
Additional Information:
Role will initially be based at Whitley Engineering Centre, but the team will be moving to Gaydon in the future. Occasional work may be required at Castle Bromwich or Solihull.
