Our client is one of the leading steel providers to the automotive industry worldwide, with its UK operations supplying to some of the industry's leading OEM's including JaguarLandrover, BMW and Nissan.

Due to substantial company growth and investment our client is recruiting across all engineering disciplines and is actively looking to employ several Maintenance Engineers (either Mechanical or Electrical biased). This is a permanent position that can offer a competitive salary and on-going career development.

These positions are based on a 3-shift pattern (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6).

You will responsible for all reactive maintenance, TPM scheduling and use of CMMS systems to log all machine downtime date. Maintaining the engineering stores system and ordering spares as required whilst liaising with other areas of the business as required. There will also be a need to liaise with customers and suppliers as needed and helping with the businesses continuous improvement activity.

We are ideally looking for Time-served Apprenticeship Engineers experience in both Hydraulics and pneumatics. 16th or 17th Edition qualified with working knowledge of PLC's (preferably Siemens S5, S7 and Allen Bradley). Experience of press lines with conveyers and stackers for the sheet metal industry in automotive would be a distinct advantage. Experience of process improvement including Kaizan, knowledge of CMMS systems, understanding of Inverter and DC drives and ABB S4 Robots would also be highly desirable.
