Junior/Graduate Certification Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering graduate to work for a world class independent vehicle engineering consultancy. Your role will be as a Certification / Homologation Engineer. The main purpose of the job will be to provide Homologation services to external customers and assisting in the overall Certification Function.

The main responsibilities of the Graduate Certification / Homologation Engineer will be as follows:

o Assist Senior Engineers in projects relating to product homologation in, but not limited to the following fields:
- Passenger Vehicles
- Trucks, Buses and Trailers
- Motor Cycles
- Agricultural Tractors
- Earth moving and Construction Machinery
- Motorway Barriers
o Writing proposals for MIRA wide projects
o Project Management of Homologation/Certification tests around site
o Preparation of Technical Documentation
o Liaison with Regulatory Authorities, particularly VCA, RDW and HA.
o Attending customer premises with or without a Business Development Manager
Performing various type approval tests and assessments

You will ideally have a degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, either Mechanical or Electrical, and have a practical understanding of mechanical principles.
