Senior Quality Engineer

To work with design, engineering and operations departments to ensure that specifications are established for components and products that are appropriate for fit form and function requirements.

- To support RandT and engineering in optimising experiments for evaluating the effects of design changes and component variability on product performance.
- Carry out and document investigations into non conforming products and processes and implement effective corrective actions, working with our suppliers where appropriate.
- Work within programme delivery teams to identify process improvement opportunities and effectively resolve issues by root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Practical application of quality improvement techniques, preferably within an engineering environment, with proven record of achieving results in improving products and processes.

Familiarity with a range of test and measuring equipment, for general engineering products, and preferably fuel cells, and practical experience in measurement and test methods.

Practical experience in the use of appropriate statistical methods for data analysis and in the efficient use of experiments to collect data
