Parts Finisher - Automotive - Berkshire - £Neg
Parts Finisher with a mechanical engineering/garage background is required for this leading supplier of high performance transmissions based in Berkshire to assist with sub-assembly duties and deliver parts externally to the customer when necessary. Must have basic PC skills and knowledge of lathes/pillar drill/polishing-grinding machine etc with a flexible approach on jobs given and on hours - overtime/evening/weekends if necessary.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving various transmission parts from Inspection Dept and other Depts for Re-Work or finishing.
Receiving lists from Vantage Production Control of daily requirements and prioritising workload from these lists.
Processing the parts - de-burring, polishing, cleaning, oiling.
Assisting with sub-assembly when necessary
Sketching and making tooling for certain jobs where necessary
To undertake day to day machine and equipment maintenance
To be part of the personal development process and attend reviews as required
To carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by management.
