FPGA Design Engineer - Defence - Hertfordshire
Commutable from Luton, Harlow, Watford and Brentwood

Our client is seeking an FPGA Design engineer to support design activities for a wide range of products. Located in Hertfordshire, with a world leader in missiles and missile systems.
Technical skills in one or more of the following areas are required:-

*Design of Xilinx FPGA devices (including SoC configurations using Power PC or ARM cores), in particular Virtex 2 pro, 4 and 5
*Design of Altera FPGA devices.
*Design of Safety related FPGA's and the verification of such devices

Competence in the use of the following tools:-
*CAE Design tools (Xilinx EDK, Xilinx ISE, Xilinx XST, Mentor Graphics HDL Designer, Leonardo Spectrum, Precision Synthesis, ModelSim)

Our client is seeking a degree qualified engineer with experience in the field of FPGA design. Attractive salary plus benefits depending on experience applicants must be Security cleared or be eligible to obtain security clearance in the future.
