International Business Support Engineer

Due to a recent re-structure along with a growing international market, an exciting new permanent opportunity has arisen for an International Business Support Engineer to provide direct UK support to regional offices.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the individual will be responsible for the following:

* To support Brazil, India and China (BIC) operations with day-to-day UK based commercial activities
* To support the Business Development Director with the growth of business from BIC
* To ensure BIC get prompt responses to requests for information and proposals
* Manage status of enquiries from BIC
* Receive enquiries and arrange prompt lead reviews with Product Groups
* Liaise with UK Product Group members to ensure prompt proposal delivery for BIC enquiries
* Support Product Groups with the compilation and costing of proposals
* Support generation of monthly reports tracking costs and order pipeline
* Manage inward visits from BIC territories
* Liaise between BIC country managers and UK Marketing to support where required the arrangement of in territory marketing events
* Support BIC country managers with management of any UK based commercial or finance matters that need direct support in order to resolve
* Provide general support to BIC country managers with day-to-day activity that needs to be undertaken in the UK


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

* An engineering degree
* Previous engineering, commercial and project management experience is preferred.

Promotion prospects are good with progression to a more senior role within the Business Development organisation.

Ideally, candidates will already be working as an Engineer within an engineering organisation or working in a commercial or project capacity within an engineering or service sector based industry
