Principal Engineer (Automotive Electrical packaging System/s Design) CAD tool suite: Catia V5.
Degree qualified (BEng/MSc) EDS (Electrical Distribution System) Principal Designer required, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Automotive environment.
Requirements:
Successful applicants will lead electrical packaging activities, primarily Wire Harness (E3D) and ensure adherence to technical requirements for all aspects of electrical packaging on assigned projects.
The job will support the development of company EDS standards and procedures as well as the management and training of electrical packaging staff on a global basis as projects demand.

Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
This role is based in the West Midlands well served by the motoway and train network and has occasional international travel.
