A new Design Analyst or Stress Engineer opportunity has arisen to join a small but successful and growing engineering analysis opportunity based near Aylesbury in Bucks. This role is commutable from Watford, Oxford, Hemel Hempstead and High Wycombe.
A growing engineering analysis consultancy has a requirement for a permanent Design Analyst or Stress Engineer or Stress Analyst.
You will carry out linear structural analysis relating to defence applications such as chassis, suspensions and hydraulics and also aerospace and automotive applications. You will use Pro Mechanica, Ansys and possibly some Cosmos and Solidworks CAD. Some travel mainly in the UK will be required, as well as the generation of technical reports.You will be a British or EU national as defence work is involved. You will be degree qualified and have engineering analysis experience encompassing finite element methods. Hand calculations experience would also be useful. Pro Mechanica or Ansys or Pro Engineer would be useful but experience on other FE packages is fine. A pragamatic engineer is required.
