A global company with headquarters in Huddersfield UK, we also have manufacturing and support facilities in Brazil, China, India, Holland and the USA, all are committed to providing the highest possible levels of service and satisfaction to our customer base.
The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for improving performance and reducing waste utilising my clients operational excellence and COS practices.
Responsible for improving the product (or process) value stream from the customer order to manufacture and delivery of product.
This person will be a team member in local plant staff.
Work with leader team to identify sponsor, belt and team.
Lead and direct the functional resources as needed to improve the value stream and has responsibility for Cost, Quality, Delivery and Safety.
Manage the tactical plan to move from the current state to the future state.
Manage the resources required (but are not limited to) ME, maintenance, materials, quality and product engineering.
Allocate resource for the value stream is scalable according to size and complexity of the value stream.
Ensure Functional Excellence is maintained through a matrix organization supporting multiple value streams.
Identify correct tool to be used i.e. Six Sigma, A3, Why-Why, 7 Step, Kaizen etc.
Formal education in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Significant amount of practical experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.
