Repair Engineer / Process/ Re-manufacture

Our client is a world leader in the manufacture and repair of gas turbine components, and due to it`s on-going growth in the UK market is seeking to appoint an experienced Repairs Engineer. If you feel you meet the criteria below, please apply along with your CV for consideration
- To be capable of reading and accurately interpreting detail part drawings, engine manuals and OEM published repair data, including service bulletins, specialized repairs and various other technical instructions in various formats.
- To be able to use Information Technology equipment and systems in the role of carrying out his tasks and duties.
- To be able to create process planning, route sheets and data cards from approved data.
- To be able to innovate and develop new and improved processes, repairs, and methods to increase component repair ability yields.
- To be physically fit in order to manually lift reasonable loads
- To engineer all chemical and metallurgical processes in the
- Company, to include component stripping, component welding, heat treatments, plasma coatings, thermal coatings, spray applied coatings, HF clean and brazing.
- To monitor all metallurgical and repair processes to ensure compliance with the Company s control procedures and systems of work.
- To identify customer requirements for material analysis.
- To section components as appropriate.
- To analyse the structure of samples.
- To communicate with external mechanical testing houses for life of samples
