We are recruiting for a Product Specialist on a 12-month fixed term contract based in Leicester.
As Product Specialist, you will have responsibility for assisting the Tele-handler Senior Service Engineer in providing technical support.
The position is primarily responsible for providing technical issue resolution details to the dealer network through the use of the Dealer Solution Network (DSN) system, e-mail or direct contact.
Other responsibilities include:
* Parts ordering and status updates to support field resolution requirements, entering and maintaining product issue updates into the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) system, and producing regular metrics reports.
The preferred applicant would have familiarity with our client products and technical experience or education.
As this is a dealer facing position, you must have good communication skills and sense of urgency. Applicants should also have the ability use various standard software products. Awareness of Caterpillar systems such as Dealer Solution Network (DSN), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) and SIMS would be a real plus.
