Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer who is looking to recruit a Quality Systems Auditor to ensure the integrity, compliance and continuous improvement of Quality Management System. The Quality Systems Manager, will be responsible for the management of the Quality Management System ensuring that System Audits are conducted by external bodies.
Responsible as the technical expert on the detail of the Quality Management System including the requirements of the Group and the relevant international standards.
Decision on significant risk relating to the integrity of the QMS is made independently and escalated to the appropriate management level.
Decides whether or not the Quality Management System requirements are observed in the technologies and whether corrective actions are suitable to address any deficiencies.
Decides whether or not IT Tools relating to the QMS are used in the technologies (adherence to standards).
Decides which technologies, processes and/or projects should be audited based on their significance in the achievement of Quality Targets, compliance to the requirements of Group and international requirements and need to improve the QMS.
Decides on corrective actions with process partners on Quality Management System improvement activities and timeline for achievement.
Expert knowledge of Quality Management System requirements within the automotive industry.
Detailed knowledge of applicable international standards e.g. ISO 9001, TS16949
Knowledge and experience in Quality Management and certification of QM systems.
Qualified to Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems and registered with IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors)
Expert knowledge of Quality Tools and techniques.
Strong network within Plant Oxford and the wider.
Highly developed Interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to present / influence at all levels.
Experience of working cross functionally and within different cultures
A high degree of IT literacy
