A Linux Software Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
Position Description:
Management of Linux (Meego) based Middleware for Next Generation Infotainment (NGI). The software will be related to a Linux distribution, be GENIVI compliant, and will be linked to various web portals. The job will involve supplier management, and interfacing to internal Feature owner customers. Foreign travel will be required (India). Required to support RFQ in September 2011, and onwards into software production.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Project Management experience. Understanding of software development and licensing.
Skills Preferred:
Clearcase C++
Details
Experience Required:
Past experience of managing software in automotive, consumer electronics or telecoms industry.
Education Required:
Engineering, Software or IT qualification.
Education Preferred:
Ideally degree qualified.
Additional Information:
Please note multiple locations.
