Successful traditional manufacturing business supplying major safety critical components globally. Processes include hot metal manipulation and machining backed up with a state of the art design and technical facility. Growing order book following a major investment programme. Current turnover is 20m.
Manage the manufacturing facility and all support functions while reporting to the Managing Director. To develop the culture of continuous improvement through a team of over 70 while achieving budgetary targets. Develop a manufacturing strategy to take the business forward and to take advantage of a Global market. Candidates ideally should have an engineering degree and has the experience need to change attitudes and management style.
Manage production via three department managers whilst working closely with planning, quality and maintenance with a team of over 70 working shifts. Scope for developing the processes and the people to improve productivity and growth. Reporting to the Managing Director.
