A Battery Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.

Position Description:
Battery Engineer responsible for delivering all aspects of this components.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Component delivery experience in an automotive environment. Liaising with purchase and suppliers to select and source components. Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of validation, sign off and introduction of parts and any post introduction fault and warranty analysis. Role also requires battery technology understanding and investigation of new battery technologies.
Skills Preferred:
Presentation and interpersonal skills.
Details
Experience Required:
Automotive component delivery experience. In depth knowledge of battery technologies (AGM & Flooded).
Experience Preferred:
Previous OEM systems experience - AIMs, eFDVS, WERS etc.
Education Required:
Degree preferred but not essential.
