Global Manufacturer offering the chance to work in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product. Supplying to some of the largest and most successful Automotive OEMs in the world.

As Continuous Improvement Engineer your main objective will be to develop the continuous improvement culture within the company.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop Material Information flow diagram with associated data base also called MIFD.
- Develop annual improvement plan activity in coordination with the Operation team.
- Lead, mentor and follow up CI teams across the company.
- Create and develop strong relationship with World Wide Kaizen team.
- Develop, train and mentor staff and shop floor to lean manufacturing tools (SMED, line balancing, 3P, 5S, and 3P, 5S, and problem solving tools)
- Review and approve new production cell layout in a lean point of view and with the Logistics continuous improvement engineerEstablish Tact-time and cycle time targets based on Customer / Company volumes
- Raise CAPEX justification versus labour saving
- Develop standardised work and standard work combination sheets per product process / line
- Establish adequate process monitoring and educate logistics / manufacturing and production personnel.
Ideal candidates will have previous OEM experience or tier one supplier and have been influenced by Japanese philosophy and principles.
