An Infotainment Development and Modification Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Develop, modify and refine existing automated infotainment test platforms including hardware, software and strategy updates - Execute the current suite of automated test scripts, analyse test results and report issues - Participate in the test automation tool selection process.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
dSPACE tools (AutomationDesk/ControlDesk) - Matlab/Simulink - CAN Network Knowledge.
Skills Preferred:
MOST Network Knowledge - Vision Systems - Python - .NET
Details
Experience Required:
Experience with testing complex electronic systems using automated testing of electronic control units (ECU), data link communications and embedded software. Experience with problem solving based on test results of electronic systems.
Experience Preferred:
Experience in designing complete Automated Test Systems.
Education Required:
BSc in Engineering or equivalent preferably in electrical, electronic or computer engineering.
Additional Information:
Department is currently based at Whitley, but will move to Gaydon during 2012. Intersite travel may be required.
