A Body Structures Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
Position Description:
The successful candidate will be required to work with minimal supervision. Flexibility is a main requirement where the type tasks can vary from day to day. Body Structure AIMs management, involving the regular collation, assignment and distribution of departmental AIMs to the body teams. Creation of Body Structure DFMEA quality documentation to support Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) criteria and GPDS programme timing. WERs releasing of Body Structures parts to support S, T & P release phases. PACN approval coordination. CONT...

Job Requirements
...Preparation of the supplier Request for Quote (RFQ) pack, Cost Packs and supplier nomination support. BOM creation for various Body Structure build phases, incorporating part validation, part buy-off and quality loops. Creation of a Body Structures specific GPDS Timing plan. Coordinating the cross functional Process Chain meetings.

Skills Required:
Project management capability. Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels. PC Literacy - Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.

Skills Preferred:
Engineering knowledge of Body Structures component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. Experience in use of engineering tools - WERS, PACN, AIMS.

Additional Information:
Initially Gaydon. Migrate to Castle Bromwich in 2012.
