A Vehicle Test instrumentation Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
Vehicle Test instrumentation Engineer reporting to the Manager of the Instrumentation Services Group. Supporting and working with a small team of engineers and fitters on a variety of vehicles and engines e.g. Chassis (Brakes), Power Train, Electrical.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Advice and support in response to engine and vehicle related measurement enquiries and requests.
Advise on the application of sensors such as temperature, pressure, displacement, load, voltage & current management and application of such systems as Campbe.

Skills Preferred:
Organisation of the planning, preparation and coordination of instrumentations input into a vehicle build/'s.
Creation/development of data logging systems and programs in readiness for the customers test requirements.
Day to day support and trouble shooting.

Details
Experience Required:
Will have a broad based knowledge of instrumentation/sensors and their application.

Experience Preferred:
Preferably a proven instrumentation or electrical background from the automotive industry.
Ability to work to tight timeframes in a challenging multi-task environment.

Education Required:
HND/HNC in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or Physics.

Education Preferred:
Time served instrumentation apprentice, and /or, the ability to demonstrate support of a similar role elsewhere.
