Our client provides premier marine power solutions and customer service from a single source. This HR lead role will be based out of Horsham with travel during the week to Shoreham, requirement to be onsite at Wimborne once a week and Bracknell once a month.

The HR Manager is the lead HR person for the UK-based facilities and reports via the Personnel Manager into the Lead HR Manager based in Kiel. This role therefore involves a large level of autonomy. The purpose of this position is to coordinate, administer and develop various human resources services and functions within the UK facilities, and will involve travel to other facilities within the UK and EAME.

The role typically requires an awareness and expertise in many areas of human resources and you will need to consider both traditional and non-traditional approaches to human resource management. The position requires some experience in labour relations, benefits, compensation, personnel and training with a working knowledge of operations and also requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience of 4 - 6 years of practical human resource assignments. Influencing skills and awareness of change management are essential in this position and a strong background in Comp and Bens, labour relations and communications is desired. Excellent self motivation and time management skills are required as this role is extremely autonomous and you must possess strong communications skills, along with organisation planning and personal computer proficiency.
