Chassis Design Engineer

A successful and expanding automotive supplier of suspension and steering components is growing its technical capability and winning major new business, due to business expansion we require a Chassis Design Engineer to join our client.
Responsibilities include:
-Carrying out CAD chassis design work.
-Producing packaging models and detailed designs of components and systems using Catia V5.
-Managing your own engineering activities.
-Producing FMEAs and engineering reports.
-Investigation, assessment and application of new technologies.
-Interpretation of FEA and ADAMS results.
-Liaison with suppliers and customers.
You will have experience of working within an OEM or engineering consultancy and be degree qualified or equivalent in engineering.
You will have full working knowledge of Catia V5 and experience of concept and feasibility studies for suspension systems. Knowledge of off road vehicles would be an advantage.
