Our client is currently recruiting due to rapid growth, and currently have an immediate requirement for a Supply Chain / Purchasing Specialist

- Manage the Supply Chain in order to achieve an effective and efficient flow of material and processes, meeting the set goals and objectives in line with overall business strategy and KPI`s
- Maintaining the Supply Chain business portal, including monitoring the suppliers performance metrics.
- Develop robust Supplier Relationship Management processes and manage internal and external expectations.
- Monitor, control and optimise costs of Inventory holding within the business
- Report on supply shain operating costs with suggestion on performance and cost improvement strategies
- Liaise with planner / buyers with assistance during new supplier evaluation
- Proven ability to create and build good supply chain relationships and processes.
- Inventory management experience and the impact upon the Supply Chain
- Understanding of market prices / trends Good communication, organisation, and negotiation
Desirable
Engineering / Purchasing / Supply Chain background
CIPS Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
