Our client represents one of the largest and most respected family of products and services in heavy industry. As Performance Engineer, upto 80% of this position will be based travelling.
As Performance Engineer you will complete initial on-site supplier evaluation per standard work, perform weekly order reviews, past due reviews and performance analysis and conduct regular site visits focusing upon Order Management, Rough Material, Capacity, Finish Goods, and Robust Get Current Plans with timing. You will support on-site Supplier Expeditors, provide additional MRC training as needed and recommend parts for resourcing to drive > 95% delivery performance. You will also be responsible for recommending receiving suppliers who can deliver resourced parts to the company at > 95% delivery performance, support Supply Chain s inventory reduction and inventory turns goals, support Supply Chain s Lead-time reduction strategies and supplement Supplier Development Engineering roles and responsibilities as needed.
You must have a Bachelor`s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / or Equivalent together with strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer focus, project leadership or team management experience. You must also have a minimum of 4 years of internal or external work experience in Supply Chain, Global Purchasing, Operations, Quality and/or Engineering.
