Our Client is a major global organisation in the aerospace and defence sectors. Due to major new product introduction requirements, a substantial order book and a strategy of investment in core technologies, products and capabilities, they currently have several requirements for talented Head of Manufacturing (New Product Introduction )

You will oversee the application of Product Introduction Processes for Multiple development programmes.
You will work with the Supply Chain Units (SCU`s) to ensure new product components are manufactured with proven capability, incorporating technology innovations to ensure cost and performance targets are achieved and facilities and methods are production ready to satisfy the exceptional ramp rates that the programmes require.
The manufacturing processes will be applied to improve both domestic plant and supplier performance across our global supply chain. You will be responsible for manufacturing resource planning, ensuring that skills are available and developed to deploy the processes used in Product Introduction and to provide direction and support to new product programme and business teams.
You will work closely with other business functions and be responsible for integrating and leading on behalf of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering.
You will have proven ability to develop effective relationships and offer expert guidance, enabling you to be successful in collaborating with our global manufacturing teams, product programmes and functional team members.
